Your primary responsibility is ensuring high-quality emission certificates, maintaining compliance, and developing eco-friendly accounting methods.

With a keen eye for detail and expertise in auditing, you'll play a crucial role in fostering environmental responsibility.

From our beautiful office in Amsterdam, you'll select auditors, manage engagement letters, and serve as the primary contact point for audits.

Additionally, you'll contribute to building a digital platform to further our sustainability initiatives.

Your responsibilities as a Sustainability & Compliance Specialist 

• Establish and maintain processes and systems for internal and chain of custody compliance within FincoEnergies.
• Manage emission reduction certificate issuance, ensuring continuous improvement aligned with chain custody requirements.
• Stay informed on industry developments in carbon accounting, actively engaging with stakeholders for improvement.
• Oversee reporting, data collection, and analysis to enhance the comprehensive compliance framework and support the development of a digital platform.
• Effectively manage internal stakeholders, including collaboration with other technical representatives and supporting sales on market-based carbon accounting frameworks and assurance matters, as well as benchmark best practices for continuous improvement in sustainability and compliance initiatives.

• Work accurately and meticulously, paying attention to detail and avoiding mistakes.
• Oversee situations and processes in time, recognizing problems and systematically addressing them with an eye for consequences.
• Communicate effectively, tailoring your communication style to the level of your audience.
• Ensure consistent quality, identify problems, make adjustments within allowable standards, and anticipate hidden defects. 
• And yes, we love an Excel geek who can crunch numbers with a smile!)

As our new Front Runner you bring

• Master's degree in sustainability, chemical or business engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience.
• Strong analytical capabilities, coupled with resourcefulness, a commercial mindset, and a natural curiosity to delve deep into topics, developing an independent view of markets.
