As the Compliance Manager of FincoEnergies, your role will lead us towards success by ensuring strict compliance with legislative mandates. You will establish robust systems and lead proactive initiatives. As a trusted advisor to our internal stakeholders, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of renewable energy compliance.

This role involves maintaining records of sustainability certificates and managing data flows. You will be responsible for aligning with the procedures and staying updated on environmental legislation. A part of the responsibility will be implementing, optimising, and streamlining the Compliance BIO department in Rotterdam. You will also form a small compliance team and create a motivating work environment, prioritising a frontrunner and sustainable mindset. To be able to do that, we are seeking someone who is motivated to contribute to the energy transition, enjoys a dynamic environment, and possesses good communication skills.

Your responsibilities as a Compliance Manager BIO

• Develop and manage comprehensive compliance systems to ensure alignment with internal and legal standards;
• Document intricate legislative requirements systematically for clear understanding and adherence;
• Maintain accurate records of sustainability certificates within designated systems;
• Facilitate precise and timely data flows, especially pertaining to mass balance, to internal stakeholders;
• Lead audits for voluntary schemes and mass balances, serving as the primary liaison for internal and external audits, including those from regulatory bodies such as ISCC and NEa.

• You possess an analytical mindset, enabling you to derive meaning from information and take actionable steps based on insights;
• You are highly detail-oriented and committed to accuracy, making every effort to avoid mistakes.

As our new Front Runner you bring

• A Bachelor's degree, for example Business or Law;
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a similar role;
• Proficient in the Dutch and English language, written and spoken;
• A strong process-driven, resourceful and naturally curious mindset, able to form independent opinions;
• Intrinsic motivation to contribute to the energy transition;
• Experience with renewable fuels (legislation) is an advantage.
